Im not so sure historical leagues are more accurate.
I used the lahman database and Mickey Mantle hit 536 hrs.
But he only hit 53 in 1961. Sandy Koufax went 160-83 so something must be wrong with the game. I just dont see how Markus could take time off when we are getting inaccurate stats like that.
