Teams have started getting round this by opening football schools in the Summer months, the teams class these as teaching children football skills but I don't think their kidding anyone to be honest and they use them as scouting sessions.

I think that is dumb
Having a scout watch the game and practices is not hurting their education, and it very well could lead to a life as a pretty well paid semi pro or pro player.
Even in England as ecnomicaly advantaged as it is, a life of football is still better prospects than many of these children would have otherwise.
