What were they thinking???
Just one week after making 2 trades that Dodger fans were buzzing about, the Big Blue made one more that had fans buzzing...and cursing, and crying.
28 year old ace, Orel Hershiser, was shipped to Baltimore for starter Jim Dwyer, an ace in his own right, but a 37 year old ace as well.
When contacted, Dodger manager Tommy Lasorda said "I don't know what the $$$$ we're doing."
Note - I'll be turning trade frequence down...this was sort of ridiculous and I actually considered starting over.
