ChuckkieB, please make a backup of the complete folder My Documents/Sports Interactive/OOTP BVaseball 2007/ (assuming that's your user data folder). Then uninstall the game and install it again. Does it work now? If it does, copy your files back into the OOTP data path, but step by step. Copy for example a saved game league folder and try to open it.

Andreas, I disabled Mcafee and it did not resolve the issue. The same error is still occurring. In addition the same error, in certain instances, the game now gets hung up while loading up the quickstart.
I will re-install the game when I get home tonight. Do you have any idea what might be causing this?
