I know there are a bunch of updates, just nothing from him since last night. I understand him not wanting to risk that but I honestly wish he woulda released a beta on the weekend. Even if its something raw, I'd be willing to work with it to have it ready for my online league.

I am probably going to get majorly flamed for this...but what the heck....
First let me say that there is no one in the OOTP Community more appreciative of the work that goes on in making these roster sets than I am. The hard work these guys put in is tremendous, and they are doing it on their own time and at no cost. That brings me to my point. I for one would rather pay a little more for the game and have the real rosters included in the game. An Xbox 360 game with real rosters is only 49.99 and trust me, in my opinion, OOTP 2007 is well worth that amount. It just seems to me that it would calm a lot of the "disgruntled" folks in regards to not having current rosters at release. I have no idea what it would cost to get rosters included, probably more than the makers of the game can handle, but it was just a thought.
Again, I will be one of the first to download this roster set and one of the MOST appreciative of the work. Hope this makes sense.

I understand where your coming from. However if he releases the game with real rosters he'll run into MLBPA licensing issues. What used to happen back in the older OOTP days, there was a seperate roster file included when the game was ready. What I think needs to be done is have someone specifically for the rosters. Give them the game early, have them work on a set and have it ready for release of the game as a seperate download.
