Allsvenskan 1900 saw two teams run away from the rest, Linköping and Umeå, the teams where almost equal in the spring totaly autclassing their opponets, at the end of may they were both at 20-10, but then Umeå had alosing June while Linköpin continued at 16-6. But then in July and August Linköping played 10-10 and 11-11 to allow Umeå to catch up. As we entered September Linköping where at 57-37 with Umeå 4 games back. Which remaind with 13 games remaining, but then Linköping went into "the zone" and won all the remaining 13 games while Umeå very much faded to go 4-9 over the same period to take a clear win in Allsvenskan at the end by 13 games.

One big contributing reason was that Linköping went 18-6 head to head against Umeå,

Elitserien on the other we first tough would be an easy race for Uppsala, pulling away already in May, increasing their lead close to 10 games at one point, but then they saw a quit poor June, and the other teams started breathing down their necks. At one point we had all 4 teams within 5 games of eachother. But then they fell of one after one, Malmö pretty muched ruled themself out of contention with a 6-14 July, and Stockholm with a 6-16 August. Örebro was never really in contention, never beeing closer than 4 games in the summer, and then 10-10 July and 11-11 August while Uppsala had 2 winning months, saw them 9 games back heading into September. They kep the 9 game gap with a 12-6 september, but to Uppsala there where nothing to do, they won Elitserien quite comfortable.
