In Beta testing, I found two issues with importing rosters:

2758 - Import Rosters kills Fan Interest
2759 - Importing Rosters spams Team Transaction log

Markus has already claimed fixed 2758 for the first patch.

2759 sounds like it's along the same issue as that you reported... importing the rosters causes all sorts of roster moves by the computer, causing the transaction log to spam. I will update the TT with a reference to this thread.

Markus' fix to 2758 may fix 2759 and your issue as well, depending on how he fixed it.
