The "good" thing about daily is that if you have to leave things be for a day or two, you don't really lose much. If you're in a league that sims 7 days every two realtime days, and you have to be out of town for business for three days, you can lose up to 14 games of management action. If you leave a realtime team be for three days, it doesn't generally cause terrible ramifications.
