How do the final details of your work look? It's gotta be hard to get them right with that broad brush!
On a more serious note, it has been said here repeatedly that the
interface setup (minus some tweaks for navigation that have so far been almost universally heralded with praise) has not changed much. Most of what you hear about being brought back (and I assume have read about) are
features that 'went away' and are now returning.
In your case, I don't think I'd 'worry' too much.
