The CCBL needs a new owner for the St. Louis Cardinals. The league, which began in 1930 and is currently in the off-season before the 1949 season, consists of a good group of active owners doing what they can to re-construct baseball history. The league is currently running OOTP 6.5 using the Lehman database as player pool.
The Cards have been managed by an almost-absentee owner the last couple of seasons, so the on-field results have not been great. However, the high draft picks have landed some good prospects. Financially, the team has the lowest payroll in the league (just over $14 million) as the owner has not been active in Free Agency, but has more than $150 million available in cash. It's a great situation for someone ready to build a team to their specifications -- there is almost nothing left to tear down before rebuilding.
