Team Record: 19-31
Sim Record: 2-8
Games
5/21 - 5-4 loss @ Illinois - Oscar Oakley stole his 800th and 801st career stolen bases, had 3 hits, a run, and an RBI. Crosswell lost his 7th game of the season.
5/22 - 2-1 loss @ Illinois - O'Parra pitched 6 innings of shutout ball only to give the ball to the bullpen and let our closer (Ward Chee) give up a 2-run homerun to pinch hitter Jamie Smith (and his .165 average) to lose it in the 9th. We just didn't close them down.
5/23 - 5-1 loss @ Illinois - Our offensive woes continue. Oberlin and Keonig each had 2 hits.
5/24 - 8-4 loss vs Minnesota (11 innings) - Our perfect streak in extra-inning games comes to an end. Billy-Bob Suggs gives up 4 runs in the top of the 11st to seal the deal and waste Long's great pitching performance (7.1 IP, 7 H, 1 ER). Steve McLaughlin had 3 hits.
5/25 - 2-1 loss vs Minnesota - Chris Steelman pitched wonderfully (8 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 7 K), but got
zero help from his offense. He had to do it himself hitting a double and then later scoring on a sacrifice fly by Francisco Diaz.
5/26 - 4-3 WIN vs Minnesota - Amos Oberlin hit a 2-out, 2-run walk off homerun to spoil David Echegaray's chance at win #296.
5/27 - Off Day
5/28 - 8-5 WIN vs Texas - Chet McKie goes 6 innings giving up only 1 run. 6 different guys bat in a run but Rafael Souza almost gave it right back by giving up 4 runs in the top of the 9th.
5/29 - 12-0 loss vs Texas - Nothing pretty about this game. Paul Long goes 4.1 innings (5 ER) giving up 8 of their 19 hits. Walsh, Koenig, and Mingo (a walk) were the only ones to get on base for us.
5/30 - 3-0 loss vs Texas - Another 9 innings without scoring a run. Diaz, Kinchen, and Walsh (2) each had hits. Steelman had another nice game (7 IP, 3ER, 3 H), but it was wasted because
WE CAN'T HIT!
5/31 - 7-3 loss vs Kansas - They spot us three runs, but Crosswell decides, "Hey, only
I can give up runs when I am pitching!" and gives up 7 of his own. Mingo got on base 4 times in this game. If only people would hit him in (he did score once).

Leads Team - Whether it be good or bad
I don't know how McKie is doing it, but he's making due. He doesn't have ace stats, more like 3rd or 4th starter stats, but for us, he's been an ace. I'm a little disapointed in Paul Long's rough start. He's young, so I'm not going to go trading him or anything, but much like my current job, he's just been a little disapointing. Our starters are averaging 5 and a half innings per start, so unfortunately, having 7 guys in the bullpen was the right call (and they are STILL being overworked).

Leads Team - With a big enough sample size
I threw McKie in here because I wanted to show you who had the highest Slugging percentage on the team. Yes, that's right, our #1 pitcher. He also leads our team in On-Base Percentage. What else can I say? We need more offense.
Mileston Watch
Oakley stole his 800th base of his career in the first game of the sim. That puts him 7th all time.
