The WLB was my first online league. I signed on when it was formed nearly five (real) years ago. Hard to believe it's been that long, but it has.

I was GM in Rome for 11 seasons, then spent seven in Sao Paulo. Now I've been back in Rome for nearly four more. It's been a grand "world tour" -- more than 3,500 games -- and great fun.

You might be skeptical about a fictional league that spans the continents. But, believe me, the international flavor adds spice to the league. Especially since, as GM, you get to name your own players.

The league's got a great history, some fine GMs, and is extremely user-friendly.

We could use a few more active, engaged owners. Why not give it a go?
