Clark Grabs Empire Belt on DQ

Melrose, Scotland: The British Empire Flyweight title fight between Elky Clark (11-0-0) and veteran champ Steve Muchoki (26-3-1) ended with a quick and controversial call. After three rounds of brisk action and Clark slightly ahead on the cards, the Scotsman threw a whip-like backhand at Muchoki after he had absorbed a nasty cross. The backhand missed but incensed Muchoki who sunk a right hand deep into the groin of the spinning Clark. Elky dropped to one knee in agony while referee Jerry McKenzie stepped in and waived the fight off. He deemed the low blow to be intentional and immediately disqualified Muchoki. If Muchoki requests a rematch it will almost certainly be granted by the BBBoC.
