Again, hearing these facts (unless The Commish can refute them) i don’t blame you for stepping down. But, hearing these facts, if i were going to step down, i would have stepped down over the FA incident.
After the second incident sounds like sour grapes to me; so i’ll give the commish a second chance, now.
Online leagues can be a great source of fun. It seems like you had fun in this league, at least up until the FA incident; and perhaps for a short time afterwards. i hope you can find a commish you can trust and continue to enjoy OOTP and online leagues.
i am not one to get into flame wars. i merely responded here as interested member of the league. i did not intentionally insult you. i did not intentionally call you any names. i did not call you a liar. (And if i did offend you in any way, i apologize now, publicly.) i merely wanted to gather the facts.
With that this will be the last time that i respond in this thread. If there is more you wanted to add, you may. And, i will definitely take them into consideration.
Peace

Ok I was really not going to post anymore on this but I will take just one more crack at it.
No matter what i say at this point there is now this "shadow" cast upon myself and the league, so I think Michael has been successful in whatever is was he is trying to accomplish.
As for the free agent "incident" until this thread I didn't even know we had a free agent "incident"
The post Dark Horse quoted asked me to stop deleating my e-mails, I have always tried to meet the requests of the GM's in my league so I said I would. I did in fact sent Michael a PM in which (I am paraphrasing here because it has been a long time and I don't remember exactly what I wrote) I said I would stop deleting e-mails but wondered why such a request was being made of me.
Michael replied saying he uses the other teams e-mail to see who is bidding on a player.
I really didn't think anything else of it, my reasoning was "Well that's fair since everyone else can see each other's e-mail I should not delete mine until after I zip the file" and that's what I started doing.
I strikes me as a almost funny that I am being called into question for cheating in the free agent bidding. I don't build my teams this way, I never have. As I pointed out in my last post of my 25 man roster there are only 3 players that I signed via Free agent bidding, a 5th starter, a MR and my starting third Baseman. and of note the starting third baseman was only signed because my drafted 3B suffered a CEI the season before, otherwise i would have only those two pitchers. I would say 75% of my team is from the draft and then a few players I traded for with other Human GM's
Again, as I stated before, I have never cheated, never will, but I am saddened that it appears that all my hard work in this league can be raked over the coals by one pissed off guy.
I don't know how to respond to this whole "e-mail" thing. Here is how I bid. I open the game, Import all files from server, go to my team, bid, sim ,zip, post. I have always done it this way and still do. As for the playoffs, I just checked and Michael did in fact export to start the post season. I posted on our league forum on 11-29-06 with the playoff schedule, On 11-30-06 Baton Rouge submitted their last export (this taken from the "import files from server screen" ) the first playoff sim was run on 12-1-06 so he did export, by the way in our playoff series I faced his #1 starter, his #2 starter, his #3 starter, and his #5 starter. That number 5 starter was 9-3 with a sub 2.5 ERA on the regular season. In the game his #5 pitched 8 innings and gave up 1 run for the no decision
This is really very depressing. Thanks to dark horse for taking the time to make all the posts that he did.
