The times I have seen him fight, Malik was very unimpressive. He just doesn't have any punching power and hasn't really beaten anyone of substance. Also, his weight might become an issue at some point. He came in at 255 for his last fight in July, which seems to be a bit heavy for him. I think that there is probably a reason that his management is protecting him. He has built his 25-0 record on mediocre competition, at best, and fighting some character named Andrew Greely at this stage in his career isn't going to land Scott any title shots in the near future.
