The first link isn't working for me, but the second is. I'm more optimistic now than I was when I drove to work today.

I'm assuming the first link is to the story where the Sox offered $8mm and Boras/DM want $11mm. I can understand why the Sox were wavering on that, but it's probably worth it, if that is the deal.
