Are you talking to me or the Colonel? I'm saying that dim13's idea is not dumbing the game down. If you read one of my previous posts, I said that I wanted trading to be
more like negotiating ("What do you want for this player, etc."). I do think that teams normally take a few days to evaluate any deal, hence the delay. It's not due to snail mail (although the drawing up of legal paperwork could take some time too). Only at certain times, like trading deadline and winter meetings, is the process expedited, as in the game.
