I agree with you about his being a member of the "good ole boys" and making decisions that benefit his owners and not the game.

I thought it was a bad decision when he was elected and his performance since has not persuaded me different. Baseball needs a commissioner that has no ties to the owners or players. Someone with a strong personality, that could get things accomplished and not afraid of consequences.

I don't see the owners letting go of their power in the Commissioner role, so that probably won't be changing anytime soon, sad to say.
