You have a 16-team playoff. With this happening, all conferences need to have a championship game, and the winners of those games get an automatic bid into the playoffs. You would still have the BCS system in place, so you would add the five best teams that didn't win their conference in the tournament, and then seed by win-loss and then strength of schedule.
