It always amazes me how some people in sports (and politics) don't know when to shut the hell up. Shove a microphone in someone's face and watch 'em blab, blab, blab without thinking. I then remind myself that in both arenas we are often not dealing with very intelligent folks.

In this particular case, in addition to not wanting to give the Bears bulletin board motivation, you would think that Burress would have a thought about Toomer being out for the season and what that means for the Bears secondary being able to focus on stopping Burress. But no. Rather woof it up for the media.
