LOL! Would you believe that I came across that just last night while searching for pioneer images?
Removing the 'P' will be next to impossible for me I'm afraid....It would entail erasing the P and then filling in what would have been behind it...far beyond my feeble skills.
I found this image in my search which I thought was neat too (albiet with no baseball reference):
