I was checking up on Foulke and it appears that he and the club have a mutual option for 2007. How does that work exactly? It looks like the Sox have a buyout but Foulke can stay for nearly $4 mil? So does one clause trump the other or could it possibly be whomever files first? What if Foulke agrees his player option the Sox can't then buy him out for an extra $1.5 mil can they?
Would you pick up his option?
