I have a feeling that Mr. Girardi will be sitting next to Mr. Torre on the bench, or out in the bullpen, in 2007. You just don't diss the boss like that.
Speaking of Macha, wasn't his style close to that of Torre, kinda laid back? Similar situations, but Torre returns and Macha does not. Cashman went to bat and Beane used it, I guess. 4 WS wins helps, no doubt.
