First two fights shown in boxrec for Francisco are in January and June 1966, both indicated as Spanish HW Title fights against Mariano Echevarria. Francisco won the first go round, by a 12 round decision. In the rematch in June though, Echevarria stopped Francisco in the 6th round. Francisco never again fought for the Spanish title though in January 1968 he fought against and defeated Benito Canal in a 10 round decision in an eliminator for the Spanish HW title, but there's no indication he went on to fight for the title.

Over the course o the next 3 years Francisco won fights against Angel Grela(5-9-0,5KO) twice, Echevarria twice more in 1967 in fights on consecutive days in June, Canal that one time along with two 8 round draws against Canal, Jose Luis Velasco, and Emil Svaricek. His other wins were against LHW's and total nobodys. Losses included againts Canal twice, Ray Anderson, JOhnny Prescott three times, Velasco, Eduardo Corletti, Luis Folledo, Raimo Nisula, Joe Shelton, and Piermario Baruzzi.

From 1963 thru April 1966 Velasco fought in the LHW division mainly. He started out with an 8 round decision loss to Francisco Barmudez whom Velasco would fight four times in the next 3 years for the Spanish LHW title. After three wins, Velasco and Bermudez squared off for the first time for that title going to a 12 round draw. After a KO win over Joe Palooka and a KO loss to Vittorio Saraudi, Velasco and Bermudez fought again for the LHW title, this time Velasco won the crown with a 12 round decision. After a 10 round decision over Jo Juvillier in December 1964 he successfully defended his title against Bermudez in Feb 1965 with another 12 round decision.

After that, Velasco made an attempt to move up to the big boys and faced Benito Canal in April 1965 for the Spanish HW Title. Canal outpointed Velasco in 12 rounds. For the next year Velasco moved back down to the light heavies and in October 1965 lost his LHW title to Angel Grela(5-9-0,5KO) via 9th round knockout. In December that year, Velasco and Bermudez went at it again, this time with no title on the line and Velasco defeated Bermudez in an 8 round decision. In April 1966 Grela fought Velasco in a rematch with the LHW title on the line and this time Velasco stopped Grela in the 4th round. Two months later in April, Bermudez took on Velasco one last time, but Velasco held on to his LHW title with an 8th round TKO victory. AFter that, Velasco made the move back up to the heavyweight division again where he would finish his career without much success.

I did both a LHW and HW version of Velasco even though by 1967 he was in the HW division.
