Knocked out Boet Viljoen in his first bout in August 1967. Fought once in 1968 a little more then a year later, loosing by 3rd round TKO to Sarel Aucamp. Delport then fought 5 times in 1969 loosing a 4 round decision to Japie Pretorius(13-15-0,7KO) who would later in 1969 win the South African HW title over Gerry de Bruyn, only to loose it to Sarel Aucamp in 1970..

Delport then stopped Chris Roos in the 2nd round in August 1969. In a tournament final of some kind in later in August he was stopped in the first round by Jimmy Richards but came back on the same day to win a 5 round decision over Johnny Britz who was fighting for the first time. In November 1969 Delport was KO'd in the 5th round by Gerry de Bruyn in a bout for the Transvaal HW Title. One fight came in 1970, a 6 round decision loss to Johnny Blitz and then finally Delport's career ended in August 1971 with a 2nd round TKO loss to Mike Schutte.

Four fights recorded for Kukard in boxrec, one in May 1952 an 8 round decision loss, one in July 1955, a 3rd round KO loss, one in March 1960, a 1st round KO loss and finaly in March 1967, a 4th round TKo loss to Giuseppe Della Torre. Got to make you wonder if there's just a lot of his career not known at this time.

Made a career out of fighting Billy Lotter and Gerry de Bruyn. DeWaal lost by 8 round decision to Lotter in Feb 1964. He then was three straight fights over Alf Alex McKnight(3-9-2,3KO), Tom Miller(4-12-2,2KO) and Stoffel Willemse(15-8-0,11KO) all in 1964. Willemse had held the South African HW Title in 1963 but then lost in in February 1964 to Billy Lotter.

From March 1965 through October 1967 De Waal would then go on to fight Billy Lotter twice, loosing a 12 round decision to him in March 1965 for the South African HW title and later lost a 10 round decision to Lotter in November 1965 after Lotter had lost the South African title to de Bruyn. De Waal and de Bruyn fought 6 times including De Waal's last 4 career fights. De Bruyn won a 10 round decision in June 1965 for the Transvaal HW Title. Three months later De Waal beat de Bruyn in a 6 round, non title fight decision. In January 1966 they fought a 10 round draw. Then in June 1966 in a bout for the South African HW title, de Bruyn defeated De Waal in a 12 round decision. In February 1967 in another non title bout, De Waal was stopped in 5 rounds by de Bruyn, the one and only time De Waal was stopped in a fight. Then in October 1967 De Waal finished his career after he lost another 12 round decision to de Bruyn again for the South African HW title.
