In my fictional Federal League, I am trying to get eight of the twenty clubs into the playoffs each season. I set up my league as two subleagues of three divisions and a wild card each. In a different thread I was told I could achieve the same effect with one subleague of four divisions and four wild card teams. I would prefer the latter, since it decreases the chances of bad teams winning weak divisions and skating in the back door.

My problem is that I can't change my league setup. If I have to wait until the preseason rolls around, that means I'm stuck with my current organization through the end of the first season, because there's no preseason before the first season, right?

Is there any way to save the rosters and import/export the teams to a newly created 'Federal II League' that's organized the way I want it? I'm guessing this would be very complex, since I have seven levels of affiliated minors that would need to be 'ported across as well.

{If anyone's wondering why I don't just start over, there's a combination of the forty+ hours it took to set up in the first place and the fact that I'm looking forward to playing my team in this league. I have three Cy Young caliber starters and no hitting. To a Mets fan, that feels like home.}
