Dagrims, you should mention to him, if this is apropos, that there is an option under Global Setup, Player Options, to turn off Player Development if you do not want that to affect historical simulations. Sounds like more fun the way you describe it, but battists mentioned this in another thread as being of interest to people who don't want to see Ruth flame out in their simulations.
