The one thing I worry about is depleting the talent of what is left in the stock database. As of right now, there are 3 weight divisions that have only 85 fighters rated 6 or higher and one divsion that has 95 rated 6 or higher that is not in the UTBA yet. In the next 5 seasons and with the draft and the possibility of fighters reaching retirement by that time, that will wipe out those four divisions and leave nothing but 1 to 3 rated fighters.
What do you guys want to do?
We can leave things the way they are now at 16 teams and and we can put the guys wanting in on a waiting list and when some managers here become disinterested and leave, we'll have some managers ready to step in. I can't tell you how many PMs I sent during the draft trying to keep things going. I don't want to go through that again and I can only visualize what will happen with 20 or more teams.

1. Maybe we should keep the league at 16 teams for Season 2 and then reopen the expanison issue after it ends. I'm not opposed to adding more teams, but maybe we should see if the original 14 + 2 expansion managers remain intereste interested.
2. As for the depletion of the database, I think it would be ok if we selectively added a batch of fighters that have been rated on the board. The guys who take the time to rate fighters do a fantastic job and there seems to be little debate or opposition to the accuracy of the ratings. At the end of each season, I suggest that each manager submit a list of about 10 fighters posted on the boards to be added to the draft pool. This will allow more of our personal favorites to be added as well as padding out the weight classes that do not have a large number of fighters in the stock database.
3. As the league expands, I think we should not let a season grow to past 10 rounds. That will have fighters fight a minimum of 20 fights per season. Any more than 10 rounds will definitely speed up the career length of the fighters. (Actually I would prefer if each season were only about 8 rounds since Season 1 was only 7, but 10 is not a big deal)
