Maybe becuase Gaudin has 33 walks in 50 1/3 IP. He has more walks than strikeouts. Low HR rate, but giving up only 38 hits this year means he's been pretty lucky.
For comparison, Haren has walked 38 in 187.1 IP. Loaiza, who has been awful until a little over a month ago, has walked 35 in 117.2 IP.
Gaudin has been alright, but I don't trust him in close situations just yet.
