Considering that team A will probably let Williams go at the end of the season, saving 12M plus the addition of 7 M in cash, I would think that A got a far better deal than B. Plus team A dumps Crawford at 18M (for the next 2 seasons).

If I were the GM of team A I would jump on this offer but if I were team B I would hesitate. But if B is stacked with young players this would make sense to try to move up a bit, at least for a few years until the young players are ready.

Tough call but I still think A got a FAR better deal.
