The South Eastern Division Has the highest rated team in the Eastern League (Carlsbad) and doesn't look to be as tight as the North Eastern divsion. Two of the Best three pitchers in the entire league are in this divsion as well.

Alamogordo Armadillos

Predicted finish: 2nd

The Armadillos easily have the best rotation in this division. Led by Dave Bacon who should be a front runner for the Enchanted Pitcher Award for the Eastern League. The bullpen however is just average and closer Stu Franklin had the worst ranking among closers in the division. The offense is pretty good and they should score a decent amount of runs led by shortstop Howard Livingston, and second baseman Maxwell Phelan

Jonathan Wood (9 stuff 14 mov 13 con)

Best Hitters:

Carlsbad Caverns

Predicted finish: 1st

The only weakness for the Caverns is their middle relief. Closer Ernest Eberhardt is very good, and the 1, 2 puch in the rotation of Vern Ebner and Alberto Calderon can hang with most in the league. The offense has an excellent mix of speed, contact, and power led by center fielder Ron Thomas and first baseman Kevin "VooDoo" Duty

Ernest Eberhardt (14 stuff 4 mov 18 con)

Best Hitters:
Ron Thomas (17 con 19 gap 16 pow)

Hobbs Coyotes

Predicted finish: 4th

The Coyotes have a good pitching staff starter Adam Lester is very good and closer Deshawn Dirk is the best rated closer in the division, but the offense is easily rated the worst in the division, so scoring runs to get to Dirk may be an issue. Center fielder George Hoover, and third baseman Jerry Cardinale will surely do their best to prove this prediction wrong however.

The Aliens have the best bullpen in the divsion led by closer Daniel Felton. The number one starter, Mike Crawford, is one of the best pitchers in the league, but from there the rotation falls off alot. if another starter can step up they could very well finish 2nd or even 1st. The offense is pretty well balanced from 1-8. The standouts are first baseman Dave Grantham and second baseman Vince Cuthbertson.
