Are you using the last patch? In previous patches these kinds of things happened every now and then for some reason, but I haven't seen it in this last patch. And it was always JUST in spring training too, if it's the same problem you needn't worry about the regular stats.
I've never used a roster set though, always with purely computer generated fictional players.
