Huh, interesting...I'm pretty sure I've seen this work correctly with two-way ties both intra- and inter-division, so I'm stunned to hear it fails so spectacularly with three-way ties.

BTW, did you mean to write that Grand Rapids was the #4 team, or did I miss something?

Edit: Oh, #5 including the other division winner, I take it...nevermind.
