I am trying to create my own logo's, borrowing from Church OOTP's medal circle set's background.

So far, most look like this:

I'm mostly using alternative logo's for the minors. As much as I can find them.

My questions is, what effect in photoshop would make them look like truthserum607's, with the shadowing/raising effect?
