Yeah. If I'm reading you correctly, I've encountered a similar issue. The game doesn't recognize the Level of Play in the setup screen. If it's a ML (parent) club and you set the level of play to AAA, the News and all of the transactions still refer to your "minor league" pitcher, etc... The only real effect the change seems to make systemically is the alteration of the MLE and equivalencies, which you can do manually (the path of my resort) while leaving the league level alone. It does get confusing otherwise.
