I moved here about 2 years ago, and it always amazes me when I hear the opinions on Yuma. You'd think we were some little dirt 'burg. It's actually a huge city for Arizona (third largest in AZ, I think...), about 80,000 during the summer....well over 200,000 during the winter.
I actually would have chosen the name Criminals, but the nicknames were already assigned. I do have a Strat team named the Yuma Criminals (which just won the championship, I might add
).
Anyway, I'm looking forward to this league BIG TIME. Joe, any relation to the ballplayer of the same name??
