But the game won't launch even in demo-mode. It launches the purchase / licensing software, but whether you buy or cancel, nothing happens. It just goes away. I've tried deleting and reinstalling and just going for the demo, but that hasn't worked either.
It's as if my machine doesn't recognize that there's another program beyond the licensing software. That's it as far as my system is concerned. It's odd, to say the least.
Figuring out if my first copy that I have since deleted was ever actually recorded as licensed (and thus deleted w/o being unlicensed) and what to do about it is a whole other kettle of fish.
If anybody out there is also having this issue with the Mac version, mind giving us a run down of your specs? Trying to find a common thread.
