OK, well, I haven't been able to duplicate the error at work. I've got OOTP to work on a couple of machines here in demo mode. All the machines tried are older (G3 - G4) and running some version of 10.3, I haven't had access to the Mac Mini that mirrors my home system as it's being used for a project right now. Maybe this weekend I can try it out.
I'm assuming that OS 10.4 isn't the problem, since that would be pretty obvious. I don't have any 3rd party widgets or anything much but the regular Mac package running, so I don't have an obvious conflict there.
I have downloaded the 1.02 version and will give that a try tonight after giving my system a stern talking too and a little cleaning up.
We'll see how it goes. Gotta get this working-- I may actually have some free time to waste next week.
