I dunno, I've never thought of him as a hall of famer but looking back over his career I'd probably put him in (assuming the long list of first basemen I'd put in ahead of him gets in too). 5 excellent seasons and a bunch of average-to-very-good ones puts him ahead of most hall of famers.
