I have imported 1984 information from Lahman's database and wanted to use a 1980's facepack I downloaded. What is the best way to incorporate the facepack?

Also, I noticed the minor leagues had very few players. Is there anyway to update each subsequent year (i.e. 1985, 1986, etc.) as I progress into the future?
