I can't remember whether or not I checked the box about the inaugural draft. There ought to be a way to cancel the draft. I even imported another 30 undrafted players and it still won't work. I also tried exporting the rosters and importing them into a new game... OOTP locks up and quits. I tried saving the game as a quickstart game... that doesn't work either.

It just seems to me that OOTP crashes and locks up way too often.

I am going to give it another try and do like you say. However it takes hours to import 300 individual players and my patience with OOTP is wearing out. It crashes way way too much.
