Budgets Screwed Up Because of Miscalculated Projections??
It appears that this may be the cause of having money available, but not having it budgeted to spend...
The projected balance is totally wrong...as you can see last year, my team made a pretty healthy profit of roughly $521,898...which took the balance to over $1 million...
There is no way after I trimmed almost $45,000 off the payroll that I should be projected to lose over $300,000 after I made over $500,000 the previous year with much higher expenses than I currently have...
If the budget I receive is based on these projected amounts, then I can understand why I have no money to spend(since the owner is expecting to come up on the short side of the stick). However, unless my owner has some plans to spend about $800,000, these projections make absolutely no sense...To make it worse, it actually tells me the financial situation is secure, as I have $43,692 to spend on player and staff signings. That's great, but I want to RE-SIGN some of the players I ALREADY HAVE!!!! instead of going out and having to fight for them on the market...
However, as posted in a previous thread, extensions have nothing to do with the salary cap for this year, as the money you are giving the player won't affect the cap until you actually get to that year of the extension...
Can someone please take a look at this also?? I would be willing to bet the budget and extensions are related, even though they shouldn't be...
