try this:

I downloaded the latest version of OOTP 2006.

My game version is: 1.0.2.12258

I'm running: Windows XP SP2 with all the latest patches installed

I downloaded and installed the CRBeta06_v0.5.zip file from Cubby's sig from filefront.

I loaded the save game file and created a new Human General Manager. I selected to start as the GM of the Atlanta Braves.

The game promptly crashes.

If this happens to you...do the following:

You have to set Bud Selig to Act As: NONE
Select Bud Selig and remove his commissioner role
Create a new Human Manager that starts unemployed
Select that human manager
