I became aware of this game via the review in Sports Weekly. I am a die-hard Status Pro Baseball geek and have always wanted a sim game for the PC. This appears to be what I have been looking for.
I have played with this a little, printed off the guide and read the boards. I realize I may be a tool and missed the answers somewhere (either board or guide), so I thought I would give a summary of what I want to do in a game like this and hope that some of you can guide/explain how I do them.
1) I basically would like to start out with the 2006 MLB rosters/teams etc. Does not matter if they are up-to-date or at start of this season.
2) I would like the ability to manage any team in a game when I feel like it and sim the rest w/o adverse effects (injured/tired players not sitting etc)
3) I would like the ability to GM (or manage) a team and set lineups, pitching rotations, etc and sim from there. Would also like the game to notify me of injury so that I could do the replacements as needed.
4) I would like the ability to just do MLB universe and not minors sometimes.
Any info/assistance to these questions is appreciated. I am really interested in this game, but I am really green to PC sim games. I am/was a board-game geek.
