Sorry, that was my bad, but I did provide the correct information to Markus. I know that he based the options on plays that actually have occurred in baseball. I believe he feels that the data shows that people don't bunt in that situation.
I've sent it back to him to reconfirm this with the Retrosheet data that he uses, though. Just curious though, if you didn't want to get into a double play, why didn't you just take the pitches, and hope that he gets walked? With a bunt, it's very unlikely that you would manage to get the runners safe all around...
Just a thought.
