0-0 Records have a .500 winning pct
Has anyone reported on this fact? If you have a team that you leave unscheduled for a season, and they don't play any games, then they wind up in the middle of the standings because the game considers 0 wins and 0 losses to be a .500 record, rather than a .000 record.
I realize that leaving teams unscheduled for a season is a little outside the scope of normal operations, but it is an important workaround for historical simmers dealing with expansions and the lahman db. A fear that has come up on the historical simulations board is that it might be possible for said 0-0 teams to actually win the division during the 1998 expansion.
