I like having the pitch-by-pitch option....but I think the classic full AB result should be the default setting and pitch-by-pitch should be the option we can enter into. With no one on base...I never use pitch-by-pitch. With a big lead or trailing by a ton...I also never use pitch-by-pitch. When I want my closer or ace pitcher to just focus on the batter...I don't use pitch-by-pitch.

On the flipside....games that are standings relevant...I will use/want pitch-by-pitch at times. For postseason games...I will use/want pitch-by-pitch. I could also see myself using it some for guys going for milestones like 500, 600, 700 HR clubs...or guys with no-hitters in the 9th etc.

I basically wish the functionality of both were there as options and that the old full at bat result was the default, so we could do things such as hold runners etc, but still have the ability to go into pitch-by-pitch in certain situations. I don't want or see myself using pitch-by-pitch from the start to end of games now or in the future. Its not that it can't be entertaining...its more of the time factor and how long it would take to play out a season which is my preferred method for playing OOTP.
