If you mean see what you could get for one of your players you're looking to unload, buckle your seatbelt and settle back for long, enchanting hours of trial-and-error, multi-screen fun involving (depending on your league setup) dozens and dozens and dozens of minor league and foreign leauge teams.
As you'll see in this very thread, some actually prefer this to the trading block or player swap, as it's more "realistic." That blows my mind, but no one else seems to miss the ability to get an idea of what you could get for a player you're offering. Note - a trading block option is NOT (or at least does not have to be) synonomous with being able to "rip off" the AI.
Personally I crank up the trading frequency and just hope the AI makes me an offer for a player I'm looking to trade. I don't even attempt proactive trades because they take hours and hours and hours.
I say a prayer to Babe Ruth every night that they'll return a trading block option, but I'd say the odds are better that the Pirates will meet the Royals in this year's World Series.
