Not exactly. The Mongols did start a dynasty and were in the country for over 100 years. During that time, trade flourished and many cultural advances were made. With the Mongols controlling everything from China to Eastern Europe, easy transfer of knowledge was possible. Overall, the mongols were pretty nice for China.

The interesting thing is, Genghis Khan was never emperor of China. He just conquered some parts of it. It was his grandson that did most of the good stuff for them. But the heritage is all the same Temujin made the Mongols, the Mongols improved China, therefore, Genghis Khan should get some credit.
