Not being a ref or knowing about the workings of the FA, FIFA and UEFA and not wanting to know what goes on behind their doors I think I'm right in saying that if the ref see's it and books a player nothing can be done, if the referee doesn't see it, it can be looked at. The real weird thing is if the ref sends a player off he can appeal and have it quashed or turned into a yellow but if a ref gives a yellow or nothing and it should have been a red then nothing can be done.
